Baghdad – Haj Aqeel Muften, President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, received His Eminence Sheikh Shams al-Din al-Kasnazani al-Qadiri al-Husseini in the capital, Baghdad, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Iraq.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation in cultural and sports fields, emphasizing the importance of supporting youth and promoting values of peace, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
This meeting is considered a significant step toward strengthening relations between Iraq’s religious, cultural, and sports institutions and relevant international organizations.
